#PGRWeek1
Thank you to all of our new UofG PGRs who entered our #pgrweek1 competition and shared the start of their PGR journeys with us. We really enjoyed seeing what you've been getting up to so far, and we hope you'll share more of your PGR experiences with us in the future. In the meantime, we thought we'd show you some of our favourite entries.
For some PGRs, #pgrweek1 included moving to Glasgow and finding new accommodation.
Mauro Pazmiño shared this atmospheric shot of hostel accommodation. We hope you've found somewhere more permanent and cosy to stay now, Mauro! If any readers require additional information regarding accommodation, check out this guest post from the UofG Living team.
Here at Blog HQ, we love new stationery. The start of a new academic year- and your PGR journey- is a brilliant excuse to acquire new notepads and pens (not to mention our other love, books!) a fact that many of you took advantage of during your first week. For any readers experiencing stationery envy, you can stock up yourselves by visiting the UofG shop. We also recommend checking out Byres Road and Cresswell Lane too!

What #pgrweek1 would be complete without exploring the beautiful UofG campus? We enjoyed sharing Wiku Suryomurti's exploration of the UofG campus via Instagram, from the Library and Main Building, to this fantastic image of the Sir Adam Smith statue, in whose footsteps Wiku hopes to follow!
We love hearing about your PGR journeys, whether you're a first year or ready to submit your thesis. As ever, share your experiences with us through the comments, and don't forget you can also find us on Twitter and Instagram as @uofg_pgrblog.
