How is your relationship with your PhD currently going?Are you still in the gooey “honeymoon phase” of love and light and pure optimism?
Have you been in this relationship for a while now? Had to make some adjustments?Have you been in a relationship with your thesis for years?
Learned new things along the way?
How is the current state of your relationship with its practice, research, and writing?
We in the PGR word empathize. So we’re taking advantage of this “emotional” time of year, to - well – emote, by writing "love" letters to our Thesis/PhD*
(*) All variations on this theme are acceptable from smitten sappy missive to "Dear John" letters... Be honest, be creative, use glitter!
1 Feb A letter box will be prominently placed in Gilchrist Postgraduate Club.
(Paper products only in the box please - no technology, food, goldfish, returned jewelry...)
13 Feb We will hold a “Dear Thesis Maker Space” from 13:30 - 15:30 in the Gilchrist Postgraduate Club Come and get creative with ways to compose/construct your Letter to Your Thesis.
Fun paper, glue, crayons, pens, and other crafting items will be provided. (And the bar will be open.)
14 Feb – PGR team will award Prizes for Most Inspiring! Funniest! Most Original! And more… (Groovy Prizes TBD)
