My First Week Competition

Happy New Academic Year and a warm welcome to all of our new PGRs! We’ll be here to guide you along your PGR journeys, and what better way to kick things off than with a competition just for you?

We want to know how you’re finding settling in to life as UofG PGRs. To enter, all you need to do is take a photo which encapsulates your first week as a researcher. It could be a picture showing us what your research space at home or on campus looks like; a new discovery you’ve made whilst exploring Glasgow… perhaps you’ve just acquired a furry study buddy to assist you in your research? Every PGR journey is unique, and we can’t wait to see images of your first week.
 
Post your pictures to Twitter or Instagram using #pgrweek1, and don’t forget to tag us too- @uofg_pgrblog. If you’re not on social media yet- come join us! Check out our posts on why we love social media, and follow some of our favourite accounts. Here at Blogger HQ we’re big fans of @uofglasgow (obviously), but we also recommend @uofgpgrguru and @gilchristpgclub for all you could need to know about PGR life. Naturally we’ll share our favourite entries, and some of you will win one of our fab researcher starter packs featuring some UofG goodies to help you during the academic year.

Please note that this competition is only open to PGRs starting at UofG October 2017. We will hold additional competitions throughout the academic year.
