The Love of my Life

It wasn’t love at first sight; I’ve observed you for a while

my feelings for you are true and real

they developed on their own over the time

experienced happiness, excitements, regrets, and a lot

dear thesis, finally you made me realised

We are meant to be together, right?

The days are getting longer and harder

The nights are sleepless, eyes go blurry, and I yawn

sometimes feeling tired, bored, and depressed

But I love to spend nights with you till the dawn

Love isn’t blind; it makes me enlightened  

I met you and found the ‘North Star’ of my life

There were moments, we fought and cried together

Our bond is so strong, so I won’t leave you ‘dear’ 

When I’m in your arms, I dream of our future

The harvest of our love will bring us the success

You made me believe in courage and hopes

I’m feeling valued and being loved by people  

I’ve given up things for the sake of our love  

It’s not easy to live away from home

Sometimes, it drives me crazy then, I am sad

Don’t be mad at me as I’m trying so hard

You heal my pain; it touches my heart

My love isn’t perfect, but know that ‘it’s real’
